"He who has an ear,let him hear." I have ears; but unfortunately I do not hear as well as I should. That goes back to childhood illnesses and ear drum damage. Lack of hearing can cause public embarrassment. Overall, I hear pretty well. Whatever I can't make out, I usually can read on someone's lips. I usually get the message.
When I read that verse in scripture, though, I know I'm lacking. I know I could "hear" better. Truly listening to God brings about OBEDIENCE. Some days, I respond appropriately. Other days may depend on where my eyes are; focused on me or focused on God & others?
I want to hear better every day.
