I have just spent the day with several friends. One of these friends is very kind and she is often found in the backgrounds of photos taken on the important days of my life over recent years. The other friends were the ones that helped to hold me together during a very difficult time in my life. We talked and watched our children play and ate and laughed until we almost cried. I'm so thankful for these people.
Life just wouldn't be as much fun if we spent it all alone; at least that's what I think.
